What's it all about?

Since seeing the first glimpses of the HP Oak back in early 2008, it’s clear it will be a force to be reckoned with.

First, to be clear, I'm not involved with HP or any telecom provider. I don’t own all the latest “must have” gadgets. I skipped on past owning a PDA (apart from an Apple Newton 120 that I won in 1992). But one of these I am going to have. Now is the time to buy into 3G and get mobile!

I’ve been impressed with the iPAQs used around the office but I’ve waiting for convergence. One device in my pocket please. It’s nearly here!!!

What I think I have learned about gadgets is that when you finally do decide there is one that suits you, go all out with it from day one – or even before! If you skimp then you just never get the full use and value out of the thing.

The idea of this site is to foster a community. As it’s not even here yet, the information is scant, so if you have any scoop please drop a line an let me know via scoop@hpoakowners.com
